Just an idea.....

Has anyone put a quickchange rearend in their truck? Like out of a racecar. A Winters, Franklin, Nascar style. We run a super late model with one and u can change gears in less than 20 min. Choose a gear for highway and mpg's and getting to a crusie for a weekend then change gears in the hotel parking lot and do nice burnouts. Just a thought anyone have any thoughts?

Re: Just an idea.....

I've seen a lot of street rods running the old Frankland's, so why not? Frankland disappeared from the mainstream for a long time and Winters took over, but they are back in full swing now. A lot of guys around here are running the Frankland again. Either should do the truck. Frankland has economy gears for 500 HP and below applications that would save some money.
