1990 Chevy short fleet 2/4 drop...tire size please
I am helping a friend do some mods to his truck. Its a short fleet 89 or 90 1/2 ton. He wants to drop it about 2 and 4. He is thinking of the typical 20's.
Any other recomendations with pictures? drop, wheels size, tires???? What size 20's should he get? I have never done any of these years!!! THANKS

Re: 1990 Chevy short fleet 2/4 drop...tire size please
I just did a quick run through the picture thread of these years and looks like a 245/40/20 or 255/35/20 on 8.5 wheels seems to be the size mentioned the most.

Re: 1990 Chevy short fleet 2/4 drop...tire size please
Go to fullsizechevy.com and they have post on the size you need for the drop you have. I have a 94 swb with a 4/6 and if you go with a 20" wheel you will need atleast a 5.5" backspace but for a 2/4 you can get by with less. Check out that site.
