wiper motor replacement help

today it was raining a bit and i turned the wipers on. they were very sluggish and they eventually quit. i suppose its time for a new wiper motor. i know how to get to it from behind the gauge cluster, but how do you get the cowl piece off to connect it to the wipers?

Re: wiper motor replacement help

From memory:
- pull off wipers..use a wiper puller much less aggravation
- Open the doors a couple of 1/2 or 9/16 bolts to undo ..one on each side
- 6 or so small hex screws ( could be hidden by the by the rubber hood seal)
- three or four usually chrome screws at the grate area
BAM! in business
