chrome / aluminum wheels?

I have a brand new set of 20" Boyd Magneatos that I bought for a previous project and never used. I wanted to go with chrome wheels on my blazer so I was considering selling them and buying some Coys, but someone told me the I could have my wheels chromed for about $100 per wheel. Is this true, I wasn't sure that aluminum could be chromed.

Re: chrome / aluminum wheels?

you can most defintely chrome aluminum wheels. they have to be polished first (which they probably are) to get a real good plating on them. Aluminum plates very well. i don't know about that $100.00 per wheel, maybe.

yes aluminum can be chromed, but I also doubt it can be done for $100 a wheel
