dash and door help needed

Hey guys I'm looking for ideas to cover my dash in my 79 I'd like to do it with tweed, vinyl, or suede can you guys tell me whats a good idea and any pics would be great thanks guys, also has anyone covered there door panels also.

To do it yourself tweed is the way to go, but if you are going for a cleaner look like vinyl you have to have somone that can do upholstry. You have to stich it, get it hot and pull on it. It sucks.

First pic is with tweed that I did and next is vinyl that a upholstery shop did for me.

Not that I know about, it's not hard. Tweed is one of the best when it comes to do it your self, it moves and covers very good. Just use upholstery glue and start covering..

I don't know how it would be with the stock one, but I did cover my Rodoor panels myself. You have to just take your time with it. Here is a before and after
