Vintage pic: 1968 hauler with L88 Corvette - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I did a search and didn't see any previous references to these pics. Sorry if they've been posted before...

Here are a few of "our" trucks in action hauling/supporting James Garner's 1968 L88 Corvettes to a road race event.

There's a great site dedicated to these cars. I'll find it again and give credit where it's due.

it might actully be a '67 truck, i dont know if theres any way to tell from that pic. and i know on c50's and other big trucks they all used the small rear windows, maybe its the same case with crewcabs and other factory conversions?

This one does not appear to be the same truck or corvette, but a sweet picture just like the first one!!
On second thought, these appear to be two pictures of the same truck/corvette...

My guess is that the Fords brakes failed and crashed into the Porshe.

At least two of the Corvettes are now restored - same owner, I think. No word on the fate of the hauler. Would be great to have the matched set though!
