just a question

OKAY...i have been poundering this for quite some time...i thought that only 4x4 trucks came with a 6 lug rim pattern...i have what i have been led to beleve to be a "STOCK" 1969 c10 fleetside LWB....did i mention its a 4x2...it has a 6 lug pattern!!! WHY....i dont understand and its kind of annoying...im sure most of you guys know this...but i have no clue...and i a really glad i found this place i have all ready learned so much about my truck but this is somting i have bed wondering about.

My 67 had 6 lugs from the factory I cant remeber the years but they were 6 lug up to 1970 i think.

yea thats right, all 1/2 tons up to 1970 were all 6 lug reguardless of if they were 2 or 4 wheel drive. then in 71 the 2 wheel drives went to 5 lug but the 4x4's were still 6 lug

Get some literature. There are numerous publications that are applicable to Chevy trucks, like Chevy Truck Redbook, that will help you as you learn more and more about your favorite vehicle.
