Thanks for all the great replies. I have been reading, but unable to reply until now, so sorry for the delay!
Shovelhead, Thank you so much for the generous offer! I will have to keep it in mind. Given gas prices and distance it might be cheaper for me to get the parts I need locally, But I would like to keep it open as an option if you don't mind.

That is exactly what I was envisioning. I'm glad to see that it worked out for you.
I think I will gather the supplies I need soon and wait for the weather to warm up a bit. The paint I'm using is a single stage paint (I think) since there is no clear coat over the top. Speaking of single stage. Do I need to wait until warmer weather to use the primer, or is it something that can be sprayed whenever do to having to sand down afterwards?
Thank you all again for the feedback! Together we can come up with some great solutions so our trucks won't be in "Paint Jail" and we won't get killed (costwise) for standard paint jobs. Thanks again!!

Single stage, will still use thinner and hardener, just check with the supplier on how much. I think those shades at $100 are a bargain in that you have everything. Wally World, sam's etc, will have them i even think Checker auto sells a version. By the time you PVC and all the other stuff you'll have almost $100 and it may not be a sturdy. Good luck this is exactly how I planned to shoot toomanytoyz's truck (if I don't decide paying someone will be easier!!)

Sounds like some good ideas. I dont think the fans pose much of an arc problem because they are "Induction Motors", (no brushes) but the switches pose a threat if you were to click them in high fumes.
