Speaker dimensions?

I was wondering what the size or sizes could be for speakers (front and rear) fro a 95 GMC regular cab truck? I need to replace the blown speakers, and was wondering the sizes for prices on new ones. It's easier to type on the computer and ask questions than take the door apart!
Thanks for the info

Re: Speaker dimensions?

Pretty sure 5 1/4" were standard, but you could probably get a 61/2 to fit

The rear panels are 4x6.

Re: Speaker dimensions?

My 91 Chevy standard cab truck has 4" X 6" speakers in the dash and on the rear pillars. That is the factory size.

Re: Speaker dimensions?

91 was different. I had a 94 GMC and prior to and including 94 there were 4x6's in the dash. The 95's and later have 5 1/4 in the door and 4x6 in the rear.

Re: Speaker dimensions?

I agree 4X6's dash and rear pillars. Pioneer makes direct fit. They don't sound to bad. I have a high power SuperTuner.

Go to www.crutchfield.com They'll tell you what fits. I use them in all my late model vehicles.
