Color of the brake booster
I know this question has come up before, but can anyone tell me the original color of the brake booster on a 71 Chevy p/u? I've seen black ones and I've seen some restored to the cadmium finish? What is factory correct?

The ones I have seen have always been a raw or bare steel color...

I believe that the Bendix brand is Black and the Delco Moraine is Cadmium.

2 Die 4 is corect. Depends on the type of booster, Delco Moraine cad gold and bendix black. They will be labelled/stamped in the front of the case.
