Dropping the '67
Can a drop be accomplished simply by using a dropped spring kit like GMC Paul's sells? I know nothing about lowering and could use some advice.
Thankyou

Re: Dropping the '67
Absolutely, I did a static drop in my truck several years ago. The truck handled much better with the lower center of gravity. Since then I went the air suspension route, but the static drops are nice too. I originally had the 3/5 drop.

Re: Dropping the '67
frt and rear coils if your isnt leaf rear.
Spindles are nice but not necessary unless you want to use them Most times a 2-4 can use coils or spindles up frt with it being your choice, and since most 2" kits wont max out frt alignment specs the choice is yours. Spindles can be used alone and help convert drums to discs and you will find a drop in the frt over 2" mostly has a combo of coils and drop coils so alignments can still be done and not max out frt end geometery movement. A ton of companies sell disc brake conversions and some even have disc brake conversions to still use frt 6 lug wheels instead of using conversions or having to swap all 4 of your already existing wheels. There are a few board vendors that sell kits for what your wanting so check them out first. here are a few companies names to check out and you can see if any board vendors use these manufacturers also.
