What is this bracket for???

i keep thinking it is for the parking brake.......help would be great. thanks

I think you are correct .... I think it is for the rear portion of cable for the emergency brake.

Nope Guys,

Thats the optional lazer cannon, eye beam mount.
Very rare except in movie vehicles.


Is that on the blazer chassis Alexis?

yup it's on the blazer. lookin on the 67 it seem to have a stock lookin exhaust mount bracket thingy bolted to it.....IMO it kinda over done for just an exhaust mount....any other clues? lazer cannon eh......that would be cool

Ya im pretty sure it is the factory exhaust bracket for the bracket, there should be a few more of them, real ugly and pointless unless your truck is bone stock imo.
