Engine bays..
Does anyone have a clear picture of the drivers side of the engine bay circa 83?
I got a bunch of parts off an 83 for my 68 and I'm interested in seeing how the M/C and proportioning valve sit in their original configuration.

Re: Engine bays..
Welll.... hmmm... The stuff I have in those pictures above was supposed to have come off an 83 3/4 ton, but it sure doesn't look much like your 82 parts.

your master seems a bit older than of 83 most of the ones from like 81 and up i see have the plastic cover and can either look like Gerados or mine most look like Gerado's
your parts are eight lug and we both have 1/2 tons the proportioning valve you have mounts on the frame ask GM72K10 in PM hes got both 73-87 trucks and 67-72 and will prolly know

Re: Engine bays..
I had on 83 c3500 and the valve was in the same place as my 76 c1500 which is under the radiator on the crossmember it would be hard to get a picture of, also my 83 had a steel master cylinder not plastic

Re: Engine bays..
I am definetely getting the picture that I will need to re-run brake lines. That's ok though cause I never really liked the way that the proportioning valve in the 68 just kind of hangs in space.
I guess this question needs to mutate to "What goes in the holes?" The proportioning valve in a 68 just has 4 lines in it whereas this one (for good reason, I'm sure. ) has 6. I can grasp the obvious here but which pair of small outlets goes to the rear and which to the front? Thanks..
