Will a 84' full gauge dash work in a 77'???

Just curious if the dash clusters are interchangeable between a 84' and a 77'?. Thanks!

crossy will correct me if i am wrong, but as long as your 77 has a electric oil gauge you are set to go... shouldnt be any differences... but me always being to careful, I would check the pinout and circuit boards to make sure each pin goes to the same termination point ont he cluster...

Also if you're currently running idiot lights for your temp and oil pressure, you will need to swap out the senders for ones rated for the gauges. You can find them at your local NAPA AUTO PARTS stores.
