Is this Roll Bar worth Saving?
I am having a family cage built and installed in my '69 Blazer and the guy who will be building it gave me an option of welding on to and adding to the roll bar that is currently in the Blazer. I've attached a couple of pics (sorry for the bad resolution I used my cell phone). I just would like to know would I be better off selling the old roll bar and use that money toward the new family cage or should I not worry about it and just use it as part of the new cage? By the way, he will be reinforcing the mounting points.
Thanks, Bob S. |

Re: Is this Roll Bar worth Saving?
Start over is my opinion. You can probably get some cash for that if you can find a close buyer.

Sell it and start a new one. There are several threads on "family cages" if you're looking for design ideas.
