70 series tires?

anyone running 70 series tires? i want to see pics if possible. i saw on newstalgia's wheel visualizer u can see different size tires and i really like how the 70 series looked. i was planning on going with a 60 series, but now i aint sure. my truck is lowered 3/5.

Slonakers truck is running 70 series tires and looks good lowered . You might search his postings and take a look at his truck . I have 255/70/15's on my 78 shortbed . I have 275/60 rears and 255/60 fronts on my 77 longbed . Both look good and are on 15x8 inch wheels all around . I think I like the way the staggered 60's look better . I have had a tough time adding pics so I will try to get some pics loaded to Photobucket and link to them . Frank

Mine has 255/70/15 tires all the way around on 8" rally wheels. It is lowere 2.5/4.

Sorry for the late response but here are a couple pics .

8 inch Rally with 275/60 rear and 255/60 front


same truck before the 1 inch lowering springs and with 255/70/15"s all around




My 78 short bed with 255/70/15's all around



And just for size reference , my 77 Short bed with 235/75/15's all around on 8 inch Rallys
