I have these bucket seats, What are they from and will a 72 seat cover fit? I need to know soon as I will trade my newly upholsterd bench for covers.

That is a 73 up blazer/truck bucket..can't tell from the picture which. Do they have plastic backs? Depending on which they are they will ethier be too tall or too short if mounted on those brackets. They will bolt right on to 69-72 brackets if you can find them...good luck. With a little modification you can make bench seat brackets work....have pictures of the mods if you need them. 72 covers will fit but you have to install them a little different than the 73 covers. Heres a pic of those buckets with 72 coverrs on bench seat brackets. Good luck

I think they do have 69-72 brackets on them, I pulled them from a 69. and the outside bolt holes line right up.

I am glad that the cover will work.

I put one in mine and the top of the seat is like in your pic. almost even with the lower window frame.

I will recover myself, what had to be done diferently to get the 72 covers to fit?

If you have never put covers on before have an upolstery guy show you how the first time.When you take the covers off the 73 seat you will find a wire in pleat of cover that is used to pull cover tight.In the 73 up back the wire will only run vertical 1 on each side.In 69/72 the wire also has a horizontal piece that connects the sides together .Without this horizontal piece 69/72 covers will have sags.It is only a small piece of wire but knowing how to adjust and tighten covers will make a lot of differance in the final apperance.

I like the shape of 73 and up buckets. I have a set of buckets out of a 73 cheyenne truck will the brackets from truck to truck be the same?

My neighbor recovered a set of those seats with 72 covers and they look great. He did have to get creative in mounting them though. I gave him an extra set of bench tracks that I had. He paid $50.00 for his thanks to a tip from Desert Rat. I paid $300.00 for my original 72 seat cores with a console. I don't think most people could tell the difference between his and mine.
