Remote starter solenoid
Well, I ended up getting stuck last night, starter solenoid, heat soak. I'm going to put in a remote solenoid like I've been meaning to. Question is this should I also replace the solenoid on the starter as well?

Re: Remote starter solenoid
I did. My truck stranded me so many times that I just didn't want to take any chances. One of the better decisions I've made. Knock on wood, my starter hasn't stranded me since and that is through the hot Texas Summer.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I also added heat shield to the starter and solenoid. Nothing like a good redundant system!

Re: Remote starter solenoid
Thanks for the reply. I probaly should replace it, but I'm kind of low on funds,
and this is the first time it's done that. Hopefully all will be good. Might still replace it though.
