I have a air cleaner and the riser for sale for 20.00 plus freight. The air cleaner is in good shape, the previous owner put 2 holes in the back to get more air.

I went through this same excercise the last few years. There are at least two different types depending upon if your truck is a 1/2 ton or 3/4-1 ton. The 3/4-1 tons had a plain tube with heat stove vent. The 1/2 tons had a the heat stove vent and I believe the CA trucks had an air pump with another attachment...I am weak on that option however. I have at least one of these air cleaners now so might be able to help you out.

Here is the pic from the '68 Chevy brochure that shows the 1/2 ton air cleaner with the heat stove. The 3/4 and 1 tons did not have this.

Skokie, I just looked over your rebuild thread and see you have a 1/2 ton. I have a stock '68 1/2 ton air cleaner (no carb spacer or stove pipe) that I will not be using...you can have it for what I have into it $25 plus shipping.
