1968 C10 CST im gonna try and get.....

i hang out in the 60-66 section most of the time but i just stumbled onto a truck i just cant pass up. its a 68 C10 CST LWB and it is in excellent shape. when i ask the guy what he wanted for it i almost passed out because i expected a whole lot more. it has a 350/ 3-spd on the column that runs pretty good. the truck is drivable. it has a kind of sputter but im almost positive it just needs to be run because it sat for a while. its set up to run butane or gas and has a switch in the cab to switch between the two. also has factory air. im not sure if it works but id bet that it does. only one little spot of rust on the drivers side under the door(see pic) and the price is....... $2500!!!!!!! im gonna do all i can to get this truck. he said i can give him a deposit and he will keep it for me till i get the money. i told him i gotta think on it and ill get back to him tomorrow. i know for sure i want it its just i need to make sure i can get the cash. heres some pics.....

Looks like a great deal but that spot below the door looks sad. I would try the other side, cab corners etc. to see how much bondo is under that nice paint. Or does the paint look worse in person than in those pics?

Re: 1968 C10 CST im gonna try and get.....

the paint is faded but is in good shape. i looked it over real good and i could not find any other signs of rust anywhere... except theres a dime sized hole on the exhaust. i looked it over inside and out and under and on top... anywhere i could look. lol i asked the guy if i could look under the hood he said "yea sure, pretend like its yours" lol... he dident know how close he was to loosing a truck with that comment!!!!! lmao
