Talking Add one to the herd...

I just bought this one from a bud who has owned it for quite a few years, it has sat since around 2000. A lot of rust would be an understatement on this old girl. A 71 CST, 350 4 speed, no tach, tilt, or anything cool like that. I didnt really need,(have enough unfinished projects as it is), but I told my buddy last year if he wanted to sell it to give me first crack at it. He stopped by yesterday and asked me if I still wanted it, he had someone else that wanted it if I didnt. He gave it to me pretty cheap so I couldnt say no.

The good part is you can buy replacement panels, patches, and just about anything else for old Blazers. Now what about the drive line? Looks good so far.

Re: Add one to the herd...

Looks like that one was playing in the same sand pile that the one I bought from Maine played in.

Re: Add one to the herd...

The gas cap still looks good. It looks like a lot of work. Good luck and nice score.

Re: Add one to the herd...

Not sure if the motor runs or not, I was told it needs ign and carb work. Couldn't see the motor, the hood was frozen shut. I know it ran decent enough several years ago, we used it a couple of times to tow our 4 wheelers. The 4 speed and 205 worked well.
It probably has too much rust for me to tackle into, which kinda stinks because I have always wanted a 1st gen K5. I will probably sell it whole, or maybe part it. I will decide as soon as I can move it from it's current resting place, doesn't help it's frozen to the ground.

some quick int shots...

Re: Add one to the herd...

It would look good sitting next to mine. It is a 350 w/4 speed too.
