Anyone else have this problem?
When it gets cold out, my shifter on the column gets very stiff and you can't pull it toward the wheel to get it out of park, you can only pull it straght down. It gets back to normal when it warms up outside. Any ideas? Is something binding when it gets cold? Thanks

Cold oil is stiff oil. i suspect that the linkage got lubed someplace with the wrong oil. Or, it could simply be that the trans oil is that thick, but if it is......
There is a bushing in the column, it is conceiveable that it got some grease on it at some point, and grease is like tar when really cold. Spray what you can with a really light oil like wd 40, it might help. Maybe.

mine does the same thing , the bushins in the column on the shift shaft are not greased up enough and he is right but i think its not from improper grease its no grease, try the wd thing i'm letting mine go and getting some new parts to do a quick repair.
