Snow Wheelin/Sledding/Stuck!
Got it some good quality time with the kid on Sunday. We went to the off-road park to do a little snow wheeling & sledding. We were by ourselves so the rule was to stay near the trees where the snow is not as deep and you have the trees to winch off, BUT I got carried away.......

Re: Snow Wheelin/Sledding/Stuck!
After our "picnic" I made a big mistake and drove out into virgin snow out in a flat area and we were stuck. I got to use the winch off the back of the truck for the 1st time, it took 3 chains, 2 tow ropes and all the winch cable to reach the nearest tree.
It took about an hour to get out, all in all it turned into a fun adventure.

I wish I had video of our "escape". After I winched back to a turn around spot, we packed up all the chains and made a full throttle attack on the hill we came down through our old tracks. With the heavy winch still on the back we had the front in the air a few times. She couldnt stop laughing.

Re: Snow Wheelin/Sledding/Stuck!
Sounds like fun!
Hope my boy gets into it like your girl is. When we went ridin this past weekend, he started crying when he got all muddy. But he's only 4 & fell in it unwillingly. He does love the splashing around in the puddles & when the truck throws water all over the windshield - so there's hope!

Re: Snow Wheelin/Sledding/Stuck!
That looks like way too much fun! If I lived up there I guarantee you wouldn't have been alone wheeling in that. I thought you were supposed to take the kids along to help push?
