Is there a place to get longer allingment shim studs or bolts for the uper a-arm? I was told if i run 2 1/2 inch spindles and 3" springs I'll run into problens with enough thread on the studs for the ammount of shims it will take?

I have replaced the stock studs with high grade longer than stock bolts and just tack welded them on the backside to hold them on a few trucks. I know alot of guys who use this same method. Most times a 2" coil drop will get your stock studs almost maxed out for camber adjustments and when a 3" coil is used is when longer than stock studs/bolts are needed.......the spindles really dont contribute to more or less shims for the alignment,just the amount of coil drop.

i have that drop on mine, and have not had that problem.

I just ran into that problem going from 2 to 3 inch drop coils. I bought some upper A Arms from Brothers that are supposed to address this and hope to install them soon. Right now, driving around with too much camber. Drives ok but I'm sure the tires will wear out soon.

I thought of the longer bolts but I'm more of a "bolt on guy" than a fabricator. Might take a welding class soon as that seems to be the most handy skill to have.
