What do these fit???

I bought these hucaps for my 68 C10 6 lug, but they have a extra lip on the back of the hubcap that looks like it fits inside the rim instead of outside. the inside dia is 8 3/4"

Re: What do these fit???

I could tell for shure if I saw the other side, but I think they are for 3/4 ton with 17.5 wheels & 1 ton with 19.5 single wheels. If so they are very rare & valuable.

Here is a pic from the side and the front. As you can see someone tried to paint them, I was going to strip them and re-paint the original colors.

Those fit the wheels with the spring clips riveted on. I think the diameter makes them for a 1/2 ton.

Re: What do these fit???

If you figure out a good way to repaint like original, post a "how to" here... I've been trying to redo my 68 GMC ones for some time and haven't found a method that I'm satisfied with.. I guess the may reason is that mine say GMC in the front.

I've got an extra rim with the spring clips and the hub caps don't fit on it. I was going to paint them the stock silver and have a pinstriper do the details then do a satin clear coat over top.
