Found the hubcap I was looking for...

Hey y'all... I have been looking for a 68 dog dish cap for some time and found this one at www.ehubcap.com. I know some others were looking for these caps also.

Contact is Jose Plunkett. Not sure if he has anymore like this one, but he does carry a good selection of old caps. Also, it took a few weeks to get it but it looks really good. A couple of small scratches that I will paint but no dents. It replaces my old one that was all banged up.

Thumbs up Re: Found the hubcap I was looking for...

i was in one of my storage units just a few minutes ago and found a pair of GMC caps along with one bowtie cap of that style. not that nice but with fresh paint they would be as nice, not rotted or beat up.
congrats on your score.

Jerry Moss,

If your chevy one is for a 1/2 ton and a dog dish I would be interested in it if you want to sell it.
Please let me know,
Guy

Isn't that the way it always happens... I coulda bought it form you. If they're in fair shape, what you asking for the better one? I wouldn't mind having a spare.

You can pm me also. Thanks.

fyi: the inside diameter on mine (rolled lip to lip) is right at about 10 and 1/8th inches. The outside edge to edge is 10 1/2 inches.

jerry moss,
The 1/2 ton is about 10 1/4" inside rim to rim and 10 1/2" from outside of the rim one side to the other. If it is a half ton could you PM me some pictures please? I would like to buy it if it is restorable. These caps are so hard to come by. I have been searching for almost a year and have only one so far.
