1967 wrench bag
Does anyone have a picture of a lug wrench, jack handle bag for a 1967 C10? I got the diamentions from a thread last week and want to make one for my truck. Someone said it was made of burlap, but was it brown, white, or what? Seeing an original would sure be a big help to me.
Thank you, Guy |

Re: 1967 wrench bag
I don't have a picture and I have only seen one. It was a plain burlap bag it is not the same as the later model foam bag. It actually opened at the top and the tools slid in from the top, the top then served as a flap and tied down over the tools. If you have a copy of the jacking instructions, the 67-68 bag looks exactly like the bag in the diagram. The burlap is the standard color- don't know if it comes in any other color- tannish? Hope this helps, Harold

Re: 1967 wrench bag
There was a member, a year or so ago, that made some new vinyl ones. I had sent him my original foam one as a pattern. I will see if I can find his name. Not sure where I have stored the foam or vinyl one at the moment.
