Lost my VIN tag

Has anyone had this happen? When my truck was in the body shop it left under strained circumstances and I had to throw together all my parts. I know my VIN number but I still haven't found my tag. Hoping its in with all the stuff in my garage that I haven't checked yet. Anybody have any advice if its not. The trucks already registered to me. Has been for quite a few years.

Re: Lost my VIN tag

Yeah I know kinda stupid, I had to be done. Anyway I have a pretty relationship with the government types here and can probably straighten it out I know we can get new tags for old cars . I was just wondering if anyone had run into this before.

You can get a blue tag there, I cant quite remember the rounds I went but I purchased a Corvette from a guy in Surrey BC (a real piece of work also) but any way the car had no vin when it hit customs, so they unloaded the car and had a inspection done and reissued the vin, they will give it a new number but it can be done. I will give a glace at the shop monday and see if I still have the filing info on it.
