Question mass of trailer

Hi,
I need some help for the following problem.

Here in The Netherlands I need a manufactorers declaration what maximum trailerweight allowed is for my 1972 chevrolet suburban. The administration bureau for verhicles (RDW) demands such a declaration for the verhicle registration (tittle). Otherwise I am not allowed to towe a trailer.
I want to know, if in the USA the maximum trailerweights is also registed on the tittle .
If that is so, I would like the have a copy by mail of such a tittle from a 1972 suburban C10, with a 350 Cui small block and a 400 HTM automatic.

Is the above question clear or need you more information?

Nice times from The Netherlands.

Re: mass of trailer

Tow rating is not a pert of the title here, as it varies with equipment, and titles do not take the build of the vehicle into consideration.

This may be of some help

Who knows, you might be able to email Chevrolet for something official.

Re: mass of trailer

why not look at the vin plate inside the driver's door and look at the GCW... show that to the inspector.

I dont know if they will send them over seas but you can call GM to get a restoration packet Call 800-222-1020 and give them your VIN# and adress to get a packet full of cool stuff on your ride

Re: mass of trailer

good... I was wondering about that the other day. Hope it all works out for you.
Are you planning on useing it as a tow rig, or just want to have the info just in case?
