2x4 frame

im thinking about maybe doing a custom 2x4 z'd frame, mite sound like a waste but nothing more then a 4" z on the account i want to run a stock str8 axle up front. has anyone done this at all and if so any pics

A few more details might help. I see stock straight axle mentioned so we can assume it's pre-1960. What year truck are you talking about?

why not get a dropped alxe, or have yours dropped that would be easiest.
