New service being added to the GatorHyde shop!
I'm excited and after a month of thinking and planning. I decided to add and offer powdercoating in addition to our GatorHyde bedliners. After lots and lots of research I'm building the oven myself, it will be 6' tall x 4' wide x 4' deep. Should be up and running within a month.

Congratulations! What does it take to build your own oven? What's the biggest thing you plan on putting in there? Are you going to use it more than your customers?

May as well go all out now and make that oven frame size. Too bad you're not closer, no one powdercoats around here.

Re: New service being added to the GatorHyde shop!
I have done a ton of reading, best to start out on the smaller scale, and 6'x4'x4' is not frame size but will be rear diffs, motorcycle frames and loads of other parts. If all goes well and there is a demand for a frame oven, I will build one. What does it take to build an oven for PC??? Lots of reading and wattage/voltage/cubic feet/thermocoupler/SSR/rockwool/high temp wire/air circulation/control panel and more ....understanding. The Cawell site has a board for oven building...lots of info there!

Hows the Oven coming along GatorHyde? Have been keeping up your build on Caswell. I'm personally having trouble finding the glass.
