Adjust back up switch?
Is there such a thing? My problem is backup lights won't come on unless I put it in neutral or drive first then back to reverse. Also, I was showing off my new lights, forgot I had it reverse and started the truck. It started and began rolling. Stopped before hitting anything, but I need to get this fixed and have no idea how to adjust or even where it is. Please Help

Re: Adjust back up switch?
NS/backup switch is on top of the column under the dash. Not an easy spot to work unless you're a chimpanzee. I suspect the switch is worn out like mine was. One hex head self tapping screw holds it in place. Remove it and inspect the lug for wear. New ones are about 20-30 bucks I think... Oh, almost forgot, adjustment is made by means of a slotted mounting hole in the switch. Don't overtighten the screw or you'll be screwed! No pun intended.
