air ride set up question
I have been going back and forth on this and decided I really want to run air ride suspension. I allready got my brackets from SD and got 4 SS RE7 bags. My question comes about plumbing the system up. I really only want front and rear control, not really into FBSS or speed or anything like that. Just want to be able to air it out in the parking lots and back up to ride height after that. What would be the best way to go about this, 6 valve or 8 and could i get away with 3/8 line or should i step up to 1/2 line? Prob gonna run the viair 380 as a compressor and the slim 6 gallon tank to go between the fram rails in the rear. Any help is appreciated!
thanks, russ

Re: air ride set up question
1/2" line will be way to fast if you want it slow. You could get away with six valves if you used additional check valves, but I would use 8. If you just want a slow system you could run 1/4" lines and fitting and save a few penny's, but it will only be a few penny's. I would run 3/8" line and fittings. Be prepared for the fittings to cost way more than you expected.

Re: air ride set up question
when my 98 s10 was bagged, i ran 1/2 line and i could get the front of the truck to come 2-3inches off the ground...now granted that truck is much lighter, but it was super fast...i would imagine it would still be pretty fast on the 67-72...check out the pic below for your answers on the valves...
