droopy sun visors

my sun visors are driving me crazy does anyone have a tip or trick to keep them in the upright position? it seems like all i do is push them up every 10 minutes. thanks in advance

Tighten the screw near the pivot point on the panel part. To cold and to far a way for a pic. I mean the screw on the flap itself. Look on both sides of the visor near the post it pivots on. If you have already done this try some treadlock or a larger screw thread.

the screw must have been tossed out when they were recovered.i pulled the rod all the way out to get a better look and nothing!

Another trick is to pull the visor off of the shaft and "tweak" the shaft by putting a slight bend in it. That works for doors in the house too!
