side view mirrors

i saw a mid to late 70's camaro today, and was really drawn to the mirrors. They are sporty, but may provide more visibility tha the original D49s...?

anyone using a stolen mirror from another car? I am tired of the standard mirrors that are the replacements for our trucks

Re: side view mirrors

I am working on an idea of taking a set of Street Scene mirrors for a 88-98 Chevy truck and mounting them on the original door m ount for the mid eighties ("Dumbo Ears) mirrors. The mirror can be mounted solid, since the glass will change angles. This way I will not have to redo the doors and ruiin my paint job.
