Heater Cables
When you install new heater controls do you need to position the heater cables out to their starting point? To be able to match the starting point on the heater controls?

Re: Heater Cables
OK I have read your question serveral times and I believe that I know what you mean. You're asking if they ned to be either fully on or off to be able to mount them.
The answer is NO you don't. But it may be easier install. as long as you mount them so that the push pull of the lever gives them proper travel. once they are hooked up and the control is mounted back in the dash they should all move to the correct location with the slide lever and even out. At least this has been my experience. Good luck with your install... Regards! |
