I just got pictures if any body can tell me what they think this truck is worth. The motor runs good, body needs work. Sure would appreciate any comments or info to help me. I need to know what to ask for the truck. There is alot of trucks through out the farm 64-85, lots of good parts, if I can help anyone w/ anything they need, just let me know. I'd be glad to see these parts get used instead of sitting around getting rusty and going bad.

Its worth what your market will bare. In this area that truck would bring $500 as long as it didnt need rocker panels really bad. If it needed rockers it would go to the junkyard or get parted out.

I think being that that the truck has a big-block that runs good, it is proably worth over $1000. If you are going to sell it, i would ask about 50% more then you expet to get out of it.

Paid $500 for it. Had a running big block. No rocker or major body rust and I was certainly wasnt the first guy to look at it. Drove it home. Its all dependent upon your area. Here a 3/4 ton long bed with a big block brought what I paid. Theyre a dime a dozen here. Mine is even an 50th anniversary edition ( which means absolutely nothing to 99.9% of the truck buying public). In the Northeast just because of the rust factor they may bring more depending if people are crazy for them. In the condition that truck is in I'd offer $750. No more and then it would probably get parted out.

I will have to agree with yellow72, the $1000.00 range. The big block brackets alone are worth quite a bit. Complete, running with p/s, a/c, auto, ect, I would say $1000.00
Mikep, you STOLE that truck, mabey not in your area, but here that truck would have brought around $2500.00 easy. Joe

This is a good area for trucks. Lets just say I have never spent more than a thousand on a running truck and I have owned 20+ trucks.

Well then keep your eyes open for me...I would gladly pay $1500-2000 for a running drivable big block LWB GMC AND the shipping cost back to Virginia
