69 GMC hood vs 70 chevy hood

is there a difference?

From the parts catalogs I have 69-72 are all the same hoods...Chevy or GMC...

Yep, they are same except the GMC hood has more holes for the letters.

Bobbo congrats on the new truck. i have also learned a lot in the past year. Mine started as a 70 chevy but I love the dual head lights.

Thanks! I figured out last night checking the VIN that the badge on the driver fender that says "V-eight" must have been added since the truck originally was an inline-6...
