Who would you guys recommend for carpeting for a 87 CC Dually? and I was wondering, can one use the extra speaker for my home surround sound as rear speakers in the truck? is the *electricity* the same or close?

The real deciding factor on most speaker choices are the OHM ratings of the speaker. The audio systems in the car audio world is a usually a 4 ohm rated system. The home systems are usually an 8 ohm system. If you want to sound good and have a strong system, then I would match my speakers and the amps.

id try captkaos for the carpets first a board vendor anyone who has bought stuff from him is always raving how well it fits and is always satisfied, and his prices seem good too

I Sell ACC for my carpet, I just replaced the vinyl in my Crew Cab with Carpet. Crews aren't listed in the catalog so you will need to call on those.
