Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: Finally! Wheels have shipped!

As promised, here are a few pics of the new wheels and tires mounted on the truck. The cab is only on temporarily, as I still need to finish plumbing brakes, air lines, etc. Also, the rear end in the pictures is just a roller. Still waiting on 5-lug conversion axles from Early Classic to install in my '68 rear. Rolled the whole thing out in the driveway this morning to give it a quick rinse. The cab and frame have been sitting in storage for a while now (long story) so they are extremely dusty. I LOVE the stance with these wheels and tires!

those wheels look awesome, nice to see something other than your typical torq thrust 2 that still has that classic timeless look. great choice!

Re: Finally! Wheels have shipped!

Man those look good mounted up. Certain wheels don't look as good on the website as they do mounted up. Those rock...

There's a rest of the truck? I knew I was forgetting something! Everything else is boxed up and ready to move into the new shop once it gets built (still aiming for Thanksgiving). The frame and cab were the big items that I couldn't find a place to store until then, so they came to live in my garage.

Everyone else, thanks for the compliments. I value the opinions of everyone on this board very highly. Seems like everyone agrees that the wheels have a "classic timeless" look...exactly the reactions I was hoping for.

Re: Finally! Wheels have shipped!

Right on - great choice in wheel. That was actually one of the top wheels I was going to get.
