Hi guys! Well i have been doing my homework on intank fuel pump setups and i have narrowed it down to two pumps but that is not what i was curious about. I have been doing all my homework on the fuel pumps and none about the fuel sender. So i would like to ask for some help and info. What fuel sender would i need to work with my LS1? I what ohms should i look for? Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks alot.

it doesnt matter what motor you have the sender and gas gauge need to match as far as ohms. i believe our truck gauges/ senders are the old school 0-30ohm and a new style gauge/senders is 0-90ohms. if you have an ohm meter (some volt meteres have ohm meters built in as well) or could borrow one, you can hook it up to the sender and see what ohm reading it will give you as you moving the float arm up or down. you need to match the gauge to the sender or vice versa, they both have to match. other wise if you use a 90 ohm sender with 30 ohm gauge your gauge will almost always say full even though you only have a 1/3 of a tank. good luck
