sending unit sock
is there any way to flush out the sending unit sock besides dropping tank & removeing sending unit...i need a quick fix for now if there is one...gotta move truck...towing is not an option at this time...i heard putting paint thinner in line & blowing it back through sock can work...or is that a bad idea...thanks

Sounds to me like it could eat up some plastic on the float or pump in the tank. I don't know that though!

These socks have been known to fall apart in the tank. Stir up what's in the tank with a blown out sock, you're setting yourself up for garbaging up your carb, whether its filtered or not.

the right way ( only way) is to drop the tank or pull the bed for access

if u just want to move the truck from one spot to another.
get ur self a 5 galon tank run a rubber line to the bed where the gas tank will be. be shure to put a inline filter in the rubber hose. also tie down gas tank. And presto after market gas tank for some one that has to move the truck. Remeber if its not electric fuel pump (or mine isnt)
