does this sound OK

20x10 wheels with 4.5 back space, would that work with my airride setup of bags and drop spindles? or is this too wide of a tire up front? thanks jason
guess i should say its a 69 gmc with 6 lugs

I'd do 8 inch wide on the front, just to make it easier, not as hard on the steering. Don't need the extra few inches on the front. Dunno bout backspacing though, sorry.

Re: does this sound OK

I know N2billets truck 'Lucy' had 20x8.5's w/5.75" of BS using a stock GM crossmember w/GM 'style' disc brakes & GM 73~87 arms. IMO, a 10" wheel w/4.5" BS is going to hit the front fender arch when compressed (air'd-out or suspension travel). Even the back might be tough & require creative mini-tubbing w/4.5" BS-ing.

Why the need for 10" wheels up front?
Why that specific back-spacing?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Drums or discs up front? Drums, you may be OK, but I doubt it. Discs- they will stick out.

Out back, you will be on the ragged edge of fitting, but I don't think you will clear the outside edge.

Re: does this sound OK

I Nathan measured for me an 18x10 up front would not work well, 9in was max and that was still pushing it.
8.5 seems to be the average with 20's
