72 frame under a 67?????

I'm thinking this should work but you guyz let me know!!

I've got a 72 pickup with a totally beat up body and a 67 thats waaaay better. So I'm thinking swap to the 72 frame for the disc brakes, power steering and 5 lugs. rather than spending all the time swapping individual components... I'm assuming the body mounts are in the same places??

Thanks for any help you can give me...

Should be a direct swap. The only difference should be the emergency brake connection inside the cab. everything else should be the same.

Re: 72 frame under a 67?????

Sorry for the hijack, but your question was answered.

After my divorce.I have a few worthless piles of junk laying around,if you know what I mean. That and just have my hands full with little time for hobbyin`.I do have the complete body gathered and a built 327 ready for install. The hold up is synchros in the M22 before I install,so motor`s on a stand.I`ve just contacted a 4spd guy about getting a rebuild kit yesterday.So...once the trans is good things can start moving.
