new guy in louisville, ky arear
Hello all, I am new to this forum, but I've had my old chevy, Casper, for quite a few years. I have finally made up my mind to do some justice to this old truck, and do a little restore to it.
Casper is a '72 Fleet side, short wheel base c-10 custom. The three on the tree was replaced with a tremec 3550 5 speed. The old 307 has been replaced with a 350 HO crate motor from GMPP. It runs quite well. Faster than I expected from 330 hp. Just this week I did a 2/4 drop with new shocks, and plan to have new exhaust run with Flow Master in the next two weeks. My plan is to have it ready for paint by this fall, and do the interior next year. |

Re: new guy in louisville, ky arear
I haven't had a chance as of late to shoot any pics, but sometime this week and should get my "before" pics started.
And yes, Yucan Jack, I like the tremec. 3.73 gear, 275/60R15 tire, 75 MPH= 2200 RPM Plus that awsome new Vortec motor will actually pull overdrive at that low rpm up hills! |
