Valve cover/alternator interference on serpentine

I have installed the serpentine brackets and am mocking up the setup using the old components. Everything looks good so far, except the tall valve cover and the alternator have some fitting issues. As you can see in the image, the alternator looks like it will slide past the valve cover, however, the alternator connection will not fit at all. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a solution such as an alternator that is not as deep or has a connection in a different position?

Re: Valve cover/alternator interference on serpentine

Take out the 4 screws that hold on the rear cover and rotate it 90* outward. Had to do that on mine.
