72 step side drive shaft
can any one give me the exact measurement for the yoke shaft that goes into the rear of the tranny, and an exact measurement of the drive line from each end at its futherest points

we need more info from you.
SWB/LWB? Tranny type? Engine type? Are the mounted in the correct location? Are they on the correct engine mounts? Are they on the correct engine stands? If an auto, long shaft or short shaft? |

Well, I have the long tailshaft, so I don't know if that would help you or not.
I might try to get a measurment anyway.

I think he's just concerned that his may have an incorrect length and he's trying to get a baseline for what it should be. Of course with it being a short shaft we already know that the trans didn't come in it. If I'm not mistaken he may be trying to work out this leaking tailshaft problem he's been chasing down.

actually, these trucks came with the short shaft TH350's, not long.
My old SWB had a 4 ft 10 inch shaft in it, but there's enough variables, that I would use that as a guide. |
