I pulled a serp assemble off a 1988-92 ish truck a couple of years back. I am in the process of putting it on my truck as I now have it pulled apart. What water pump style do I need? Long or short?

Make sure you use a water pump made for a serp system. On a serp system the water pump spins backward compared to all non serpintine pumps.These pumps are long pumps. If you use a v-belt pump on a serp system you will have little or no cooling.

Thanks guys, I new i needed the reverse rotation but wasn't sure if it need to be long or short. I went ahead and ordered the edelbrock aluminum one last night.
