hatch handle repair!
Can someone PLEASE post some pics of what this is supposed to look like? I am gonna take it to work tomorrow and see about welding it back together, the plate that is broken is just suppossed to be welded solid to the rest of the deal right? with the spring in between?
Also does anyone have part #s for the garage door handle? or even general specs would be awesome!

Re: hatch handle repair!
Don't know if this pic will help but it may.
I saw some handles just like those at a trailer supply store the other day. It was in a section for making toolboxes (locks, hinges, handles). They had different rod lengths & sizes, and were only around $10.

Re: hatch handle repair!
I was refering to the metal part that is broke in half that the hatch rods go through. I just weld that back together then to the square holed thing right?
