Seat Question

I am buying a seat from a 96 astro van (rear leather bench with center flip down thing. looks brand new) guy does not know how wide the seat is(has no tape measure)....anyone have any ideas if it will fit in the truck. I can make brackets, no big deal there, just dont want the seat to be wider than my truck. I searched ebay, here, gm website...I'm lost...help!!! He only wants 35 bucks for it but its an hour drive so I dont want to waste the gas lol. Thanks!!!!!! This is a hella good deal if it fits!!!
btw: my truch is a 72 k20 if that makes any diff.

i searched pretty hard and all i found was the overall width of those vans (79.5 inches) i know this helps about none :/

i will search some more to see if i can find anything

Re: Seat Question

As luck would have it- I went and checked one of these out not 10 days ago! The overall width from armrest to armrest was right at 54". For the buck and a quarter he was asking for it, I seriously considered using it simply because it was a new take-out, leather and had the fold down center console, but after thinking about it I decided that it was just too narrow. I ended up finding a nice set of buckets and center jump seat out of a 2002 Silverado for a song and am totally stoked with how they fit and feel. They are a little over 58" wide and fit sooooooo nice!
